The Market Garden

Shelburne Farms operates a 7-acre mixed vegetable market garden that provides food and education for the farm and beyond.

Our garden works closely with our chef to grow a wide array of organic vegetables that are highlighted at our restaurant at The Inn at Shelburne Farms.

Under our organic growing philosophy, we sustain healthy agricultural practices that maintain fertile soil into the future.  The garden also is a classroom for summer campers to participate in farm based projects and learning.

Come find us at the Shelburne Farmer's Market (Saturdays, 9-1, the town green, Shelburne, VT), and occasionally at the Burlington Farmer's Market (Saturdays, 8:30-2, Queen City Park, Burlington, VT).
