Christine graduated from the University of Vermont in 1999 with a major in Elementary Education and a focus in Environmental Studies. She is a certified K-6 teacher, but after interning here in 1998, she knew this hands-on, child and experience-driven approach was how she wanted to teach and connect with children. She was an apprentice and then a seasonal educator before becoming a full-time educator in 2003. Teaching allows Christine to share her love and appreciation of the natural world and the working farm landscape with children and families. She loves helping children make connections to the farm and natural world so that they can gain a better understanding of where their food and fibers come from.
