Jane processes all memberships and donations, including membership cards, donor thank yous, and address updates. She also processes in-kind gifts to the Farm, fulfills requests from other nonprofits seeking donations for fundraising events (typically a one-year family membership), and issues complementary guest passes to area libraries.
Jane grew up on Shelburne Farms, and is one of a handful of third-generation employees. Her father John Boisvert worked for Shelburne Farms for 54 years. After a business career in Michigan, Southern California, and Nevada, Jane returned to Vermont and began working at the farm in 2004. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, walking, cross-country skiing, and arts and crafts. Jane lives in South Burlington with her husband Dana Twitchell.
