Blair joined our cheesemaking staff in 2023. He has worked and studied craft foods and service for 25 years, with 15 years of cheesemaking experience. Fresh out of NECI's culinary program, he started as a farm intern at Jasper Hill Farm, then earned his Cheese Makers License from the State of Wisconsin while attending UW Madison's Babcock institute in 2010. Having worked at a dozen creameries across 7 states, Blair returned to Vermont in 2021 and was awarded a North East Dairy Business Innovation Center Grant to establish a craft consulting business that offers technical assistance to small/ growing creameries in Vermont.  When not in the Farm Barn, Blair is walking his mini-Aussie Border Collie Charlotte ("Charlie"), snuggling three sweet cats, Buckaroo, Muffet and Bleu, or chef'n up tasty meals for him, Andi and friends.
