Event Type:
Educator Workshop
Adult Program
Location: Locations throughout VT

Come learn about exciting STEM activities you can do in your classroom using photovoltaics (PV – solar electricity) to prepare your students to visit a solar installation at SF or elsewhere.  Experience how Vermont Energy Education Program (VEEP) STEM activities and Shelburne Farms can help you understand and demystify the new Next Generation Science Standards.  We’ll investigate how PV’s work – at a variety of grade levels – and explore a working system at Shelburne Farms.  Learn how VEEP’s no-cost programs provide professional development and presentations we bring to your classroom.

This is one in a series of free workshops sponsored by VT-SWEEP and the Vermont Agency of Education. Workshops link the new standards with the places we love and are hosted by SWEEP member sites.  For a complete listing of times, dates, and locations please see this flyer
