Entry Instructions
Eligibility: Any Shelburne Farms member or visitor is eligible to enter. There is no cost to participate.
Prize: The winning photos will be published in our 2012 Shelburne Farms Wall Calendar,
- Submit photographs in one of two ways: email them hbrough@shelburnefarms.org, or upload them to Calendar Contest Group on FlickR.
- Maximum 3 photographs per person
- NO Photoshop or any other digital manipulation of photographs is allowed. Basic editing like cropping, saturation, brightness, contrast, etc. is allowed.
- Photos should be a minimum of 300dpi (at 9"x12"), formatted as jpegs. No black and white photography.
- It is highly advisable to submit photos in landscape format, because of our calendar layout.
- Please copyright your photo in a visible way. We are not responsible for any unauthorized uses.
- The winners will be ANNOUNCED: April 15, 2011.
- Winners will have their photo (with credit), published in our 2012 Shelburne Farms calendar and will receive 10 free calendars for their personal use/distribution.
Contest Rules
BY ENTERING THIS PHOTO CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING RULES AND TO ALL OF THE LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS LISTED BELOW.
- You grant Shelburne Farms non-exclusive, royalty-free rights for unlimited reproduction in print and electronic publications and promotional materials for an unlimited period of time. You understand Shelburne Farms will make every effort to credit photographers when using photos, but there may be circumstances where it is not possible to do so.
- You own exclusive rights to the photograph submitted, and the photograph has not been published elsewhere.
- If there are people in the image, you have permission from each person (or in the case of a minor, the minor's parent or guardian) to use his/her image and, if requested, you are prepared to provide Shelburne Farms with the written consent of anyone who appears in a photograph.
- You grant Shelburne Farms permission to use your name, and your city and state of residence, when identifying you as a photographer whose work has been selected for the calendar
- Shelburne Farms will not accept any entry it deems inappropriate.
- Electronic files will not be returned.
- Decisions of the judges are final.
