Family Programs

Offered year-round for children with an accompanying adult, our family programs explore all kinds of topics and questions about the natural and agricultural worlds.

Preschool Adventures (Ages 4-6)

With a focus on how each season unfolds, our Adventures programs welcomes your preschooler to be curious and playful as they explore the farm, fields, and forest around them.

Summer Camps (Ages 5-17)

Immersed in the daily cycles of our farm community, campers experience the stories of the Land as they play, explore, and discover the wonders of the natural world. Our camps are designed to meet the developmental needs of each age group--and we prioritize fun!

Shelburne Explorers 4-H

Hosted and led by Shelburne Farms, this 4-H team adheres to the 4-H motto, "Learn by doing." Explore your interest in agriculture and more.

Work and Learn (Ages 14-17)

As a teen or young adult, you can help foster an appreciation for the food we eat, the farmers that cultivate it, and the land on which it grows by facilitating hands-on experiences for visitors or young campers.
