My wife and I celebrated her birthday with a stay at the Inn. We had a fantastic dinner, enjoyed the staff, and loved waking up on the lake. The original book collections in our room and in the library were fascinating, especially the Rand McNally 1917 atlas. Thanks for the great weekend!
A memorable anniversary dinner
My husband and I visited your property last night to celebrate our 17th anniversary. We called earlier in the day and were disappointed to hear that there was no availability for dinner reservations. We were disappointed, having heard that the property was beautiful. We made reservations elsewhere and decided to visit the property for a drink and to explore the grounds prior to our dinner reservations. When we arrived, we asked the hostess to check if there had been any cancellations and unfortunately there had not been. She escorted us to the bar and as the bartender poured our drinks, he pointed out the most beautiful spots to walk and enjoy the scenery. We sat in two Adirondack chairs and enjoyed the breathtaking view for awhile before we sadly had to leave for our dinner reservation. When we entered the dining room to return our glasses, the hostess greeted us and told us that they would be able to seat us for dinner after all. The food and service during dinner were absolutely amazing, as were the hosts and bartenders. The timing was perfect so that at the end of our dinner it was time for sunset. We tried sitting outside but it was a little chilly at that point so we decided to explore the inside of the mansion. As we walked into the library the piano player started playing, and we were able to sit on one of the couches and watch the sunset from there with the music playing.
In 17 years, my husband and I have not had a more memorable anniversary, so I just wanted to thank you for the overall experience and the beautiful grounds. We cannot wait to return to explore the walking trails and farmlands, and are already planning an overnight stay for next year's anniversary!

The Shelburne Farms, in its entirety, is "this side of Paradise". I hope the ancestral Webbs are enjoying it, too, somewhere in this universe.
We loved our wedding at Shelburne Farms! Andrea, and her staff, ensured that all the details of our wedding were taken care of and we could simply enjoy our day. Getting married under the tall pines and bright sun on the lawn outside the Coach Barn was as beautiful of a setting as we could have ever imagined. For our reception, the Coach Barn provided an ideal location. Throughout the night, our guests made themselves comfortable watching the sunset over Lake Champlain, dancing in the East Hall, and having drinks and dessert in the Courtyard. It was picture-perfect!

What we loved most about the Coach Barn was its deep sense of history and character; it definitely heightened the emotional aspects of the day with it's grandeur and fit with our rustic chic wedding theme perfectly in its simplicity.

Our Coach Barn Wedding
Every aspect of our wedding at the Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms was simply a dream. Truly the best wedding we've ever been a part of! We were treated like royalty by every staff member. Shelburne Farms is pure beauty.

School Field Trip
I have heard from three different parents who attended that it was the most enjoyable experience they've ever had on a field trip. I concur. What I value so much about our experiences at the Farms is that you tailor programs to meet specific curricular goals. You are unique in that way and really should serve as a model.
Your Adventures Program
Thank you so much for the time you spent with our son. He hasn't stopped talking about his Adventure Program and how much he will miss it. You run a remarkable program and we hope to be able to join you again in the fall.
